Ben is a native of Chicago Illinois, where he received his commission in the US Army after serving as an enlisted soldier through the Officer Candidate Program.

 

Ben is currently assigned as a Senior Project Manager for IT systems management at MacDill Air Force Base, in Tampa, Florida. 

 

Ben was assigned as the Director of Plans, Analysis, and Integration (PAI) for the Fort Carson Garrison. The Fort Carson Garrison consists of 28,000 Soldiers and approximately 45,000 family members. The PAI section is responsible for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Strategic Plan and conducting trend analysis in relationship to our customers (Soldiers and Family Members).

 

Ben is also in the process of transitioning out of the Army. He has over 20 years of experience in Project & Program Management. His career path has provided him with knowledge in all aspects of Executive Level Management and Organization/Strategic Planning.

 

Ben’s strengths lean towards his reputation as a go-to-guy with talents in planning, organizing, & building a better business. He has been told that creativity & thinking outside the box is one of his best traits. Ben loves a challenge and will rise to the occasion to accomplish the most challenging of tasks. He has extensive experience in leading small and larger organizations and has hands on experience managing high-performing teams & a demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.

 

Ben has been able to take organizations that have been struggling to get their work completed and turn them around to become extremely proficient organizations. Ben can lead/train/transition an organization from the ground up! He has a passion for innovation and organizational structure in teams, technology and projects.

Ben has deployed 7 times starting in 2001 and has deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan. He has participated in a number of contingency operations including Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. During these deployments he has had the honor and pleasure of mentoring and advising both the Iraqi Police and the Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP).

 

While deployed to Iraq for 17 months he advised and mentored and Iraqi Police Commander in the city of Abu Ghraib. During that time he worked hand in hand with the Iraqi Police forces, Iraqi Army, and numerous government and education advisors/leaders.

 

While deployed to Afghanistan in 2011-2012 he advised and mentored the Afghan National Civil Order Police Commander vicinity Kandahar. Ben also advised and mentored the Director of the Afghan NDS (equivalent to the CIA in the US).

Most recently Ben has been instructing soldiers that are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan with the Company LDESP. His task has been to teach soldiers the skills needed to advise and mentor Afghan Security Forces.

 

Ben has been awarded by being promoted below the zone which means he has been promoted ahead of his peers and was selected by Congress to be in the top 1% of his class which allowed for him to be selected to Command a Battalion. Ben has numerous commendations and awards including 4 bronze Stars for exceptional service while deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

Ben holds a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Technology - Construction from Illinois State University and a MBA from Touro International University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.

 

Ben Eiser is married with 2 children.
